Quality Control Processes

Discover the meticulous process ensuring unparalleled quality in every Dencowear product. Our commitment to excellence is woven into every step of our quality control process:

1. Fabric Testing:

· We begin with lab dips of fabric directly from our mill.

· No bulk manufacturing until our preferred shade is approved.

· Rigorous checks ensure fabric colour consistency pre-production.

· Labdips and feeler swatches are tested and approved for every new batch.

2. Pattern Testing:

· Full specification, samples, and patterns are provided for each garment.

· Daily communication and regular meetings with overseas facilities for continuity.

3. Sizing Testing:

· "Gold" samples set the quality and sizing standard for all new items.

· Rejection of any sample not meeting the agreed standard.

4. Accreditation:

· Our main overseas factory holds ISO 9001 and extensive NHS experience.

5. Quality Inspections:

· Dedicated quality control department with a minimum of 15 staff.

· Inspections start from fabrics and materials pre-production.

· Specific checks detailed in our supplier agreement ensure optimal garment quality.

· Checks cover pockets, seams, stitching, stress points, and more.

6. Arrival to the UK – Packaging Inspection

· Our QC manager and warehouse staff conduct random inspections on all shipments.

· Cartons are checked for appearance, product handling, dimensions, colour, and makeup.

· Polybag packaging and labels undergo scrutiny, maintaining consistency.

· Random sizing checks are in place, aligning with the factory's standards.

7. Avoiding Processing Errors:

· Stringent procedures in our office and warehouse maintain accuracy and high standards.

· Warehouse packs orders in pairs, with the Warehouse Manager conducting a final check.

· Strategically placed, signposted stock locations minimize mistakes.

At Dencowear, quality is not just a promise; it's a journey meticulously travelled to ensure we not only meet but exceed your expectations.
